Solderless terminals

STOCKO solderless terminals are fully tested at our laboratories.

For each individual product we produce a set of test documentation which is available on request.

VDE, UL/ULC and other approvals for the main STOCKO items are regularly updated.

easy-entry

The majority of our product range "Solderless Terminals with Insulation" is available in easy-entry version. This concept guarantees - thanks to the self-centering action of the cable - a perfect insertion of the matching conductor.

Storage Advice Terminals with Polyamide insulation

Polyamide is a hygroscopic plastic with relatively high water absorption. To ensure that the insulation does not break during processing, the polyamide-insulated cable lugs must be kept conditioned until they are processed. Always store the insulated cable lugs in a closed poly bag. The ideal storage conditions are +23 °C and 50 % relative humidity. After opening the packaging, the cable lugs should be processed quickly.

For optimum processing, the polyamide insulation should have a water content of approx. 2.5 to 4 %. When cold, from about -2 °C, the water content in the polyamide is also lost within the poly bags. This results in a hardening of the insulation. In order to restore the required water content, the cable lugs must be re-conditioned accordingly before processing..
